A surprise in the making

We had been thinking for some time about growing our pack by adopting adolescent dogs. But Summa's sudden death changed everything. We all need time to accept her departure. So we decided to wait and adopt puppies in a few months instead. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Ophir, a lovely young female dog belonging to a French friend, would be having puppies very soon. We had met Ophir two years ago and she won us over with her gentleness, her determination, and her soft eyes. So if all goes well, we will be adopting new companions by the end of summer, descendants of beautiful Ophir!
